Fort Bend County Libraries

Fort Bend County Libraries is the public library system operated by Fort Bend County in southeastern Texas. Its administrative office and George Memorial Library are in Richmond, and branch libraries serve communities across the county. The system lends books and other materials, provides research and digital resources, and offers public computers, internet access, classes and programs for children and adults. Its services also support literacy, independent learning, community information and early childhood education. The county librarian directs the system under county oversight, with library policies and major technology agreements approved through the Commissioners Court.
