Kempner Water Supply Corporation

Kempner Water Supply Corporation is a member-owned nonprofit water supplier based in Kempner, Texas. It serves rural communities in parts of Lampasas, Coryell, Bell and Burnet counties in Central Texas, with members participating in its governance through an elected board of directors. The corporation was incorporated in 1973 after local steering committees organized to develop a community water system. Its supply network expanded to receive water from Stillhouse Lake in 1986, and the Clifford and Eldine Poe Regional Treatment Plant began operating in 2010. The regional plant and transmission system support water delivery across its service territory.
