Prince George County

Prince George County is the local government for Prince George County in southeastern Virginia. An elected Board of Supervisors sets policy and adopts the budget, while the county administration coordinates day-to-day operations. County departments handle public safety, planning and zoning, engineering and utilities, parks, social services, tax administration and elections. These functions serve residents and businesses across the county’s rural communities and developing areas near the Petersburg and Hopewell corridor. Its combination of police, fire and emergency medical services with water and wastewater infrastructure makes it a broad provider of local public services.
