Richland School District

Richland School District is a public school district serving Richland and West Richland in southeastern Washington. It provides education from prekindergarten through high school, with an elected five-member board overseeing district operations. Its schools include Hanford and Richland high schools, while choice programs include River’s Edge High School, Pacific Crest Online Academy and Three Rivers HomeLink. These programs offer alternatives to the district’s conventional elementary, middle and high school campuses. The district’s Teaching, Learning and Administration Center is in West Richland. The modern district dates to 1944, when Richland expanded to house Hanford workers and their families.
