Solano County Library

Solano County Library is a public library system serving Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville and Vallejo in California. Established by the county Board of Supervisors in 1914, it grew from five libraries in 1990 to nine locations. Its branches and online services provide lending collections, public technology access and programs for children, teenagers and adults. Adult literacy, homework and job-search assistance, outreach and access to local cultural attractions are among its services. Benicia operates a separate library and partners with the county system to share an online catalog and digital resources.
