Lithia Springs is an unincorporated community in Douglas County, Georgia, west of Atlanta. It takes its name from mineral springs that attracted visitors and resort development during the late 19th century. Residential neighborhoods, commercial corridors and wooded land now spread across the rolling Piedmont near Interstate 20. Sweetwater Creek State Park preserves rocky forest, rushing water and the ruins of a Civil War-era textile mill nearby.
