Colebrook, Coös County, New Hampshire, USA

Colebrook is a town in northern Coös County, New Hampshire, near the Vermont border and about 10 miles south of Canada. Its village center lies in the Connecticut River valley amid forests, farms and the foothills of the Great North Woods. Colebrook serves as a commercial and service center for smaller communities across New Hampshire’s sparsely populated North Country. The town was incorporated in 1796, and agriculture and lumber were important to its early development. Forestry, health care, retail and outdoor tourism continue to shape the local economy.
