Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma, USA

Durant is a city in southern Oklahoma and the county seat of Bryan County, located near the Texas border north of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. The city had 18,589 residents in the 2020 census and serves as the principal city of the Durant micropolitan area. Durant is home to Southeastern Oklahoma State University and the headquarters of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, both of which are major regional institutions. The city operates under a council-manager form of government and provides services including police, fire protection, utilities, public works, planning, parks and recreation, and economic development.
