Cranston is a city in Providence County, Rhode Island. Its waterfront includes the northern side of Pawtuxet Village, where the Pawtuxet River meets upper Narragansett Bay. The village shares its riverside setting with Warwick and contains buildings from the colonial, Victorian and later residential eras. Cranston also has residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, industrial parks and recreational facilities.
