Los Angeles County Superior Court

The Los Angeles County Superior Court is California’s trial court serving Los Angeles County and is one of the state’s 58 superior courts. It hears civil, criminal, family law, juvenile, mental health, probate and traffic matters under state law, with an appellate division for designated appeals. The court operates courthouses across the county and supports proceedings through clerk’s offices, jury administration, interpreters and self-help services. Its public online services include electronic filing, case access, jury registration, traffic payments and remote court appearances.
