A network security incident affected the system’s central financial aid office, but its application portal remained available and no university problems were reported.
The Casper-based bank closed all branches and offices and took its systems offline. Cards and ATM withdrawals remained available under a combined $1,000 daily limit.
Account access, registration, payments and phone service were disrupted before fall classes, while the university reported no evidence that university data was accessed or exfiltrated.
